After thorough clinical and radiological examination, mobile teeth with severe external root resorption were planned for extraction. Maxillofacial Surgeon & Implantologist Dr. S. M. Balaji extracted the teeth with severe root resorption; infected bone was removed with bone curette. Simultaneously implant was fixed in the missing tooth and extracted socket region with good stability. Bone chips obtained from the operated site was preserved and it was used to cover the exposed implant surface. Periosteal flap was sutured back. After three months, implant was loaded with fixed ceramic prosthesis replacing both the cosmetic and functional aspect of his natural teeth.
