This was a case of fractured upper front tooth due to accidental fall. The patient wanted to have fixed permanent replacement of the same.

After thorough clinical and radiological examination, no fractures on the labial and palatal cortical bone plates were ensured. Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist Dr. S. M. Balaji successfully extracted the fractured tooth and immediate dental implant was fixed. After complete osseointegration of the dental implant with that of the alveolar bone, fixed cosmetic ceramic crown was loaded into the dental implant giving enhanced appearance.

A man reported to our dental clinic with a complaint of a recurrent lesion on the inner surface of the right cheek behind the last tooth. He gave a history of having sought treatments at many clinics elsewhere but to no avail.

The lesion was soft, circular, raised and whitish in appearance. Using electrocautery, the entire soft tissue growth lesion was excised under local anaesthesia and the mucosa was sutured. The lesion was sent for histopathological testing. We shall be updating this page soon with the test result.

Our restorative dental specialist successfully removed the decay which was affecting the enamel and dentin only. Using LCR (light cure restoration) the tooth shape and form was restored with exact color match giving her an enhanced, natural looking smile.

A young man came to our dental clinic with a complaint of severely mobile lower left back tooth. He found it difficult to eat because of the loose tooth and wanted an immediate fixed replacement.

A digital radiograph revealed that the tooth was a resorbed, over-retained deciduous tooth. There was no permanent tooth beneath it. The mobile tooth was replaced with immediate loading implant with good stability and retention. Immediately a temporary crown of a closely matching color was fixed to the implant that will enhance his smile and help him to bite and chew well. After complete osseointegration of the implant with the surrounding bone, the temporary crown will be replaced with a permanent ceramic prosthesis. The man was very happy that he got a quick, effective solution.

A 25 year old lady reported to our dental clinic with the complaints of pain and swelling in upper front region of jaw due to failed endodontic treatment done elsewhere. Also her lower front teeth were mobile due to severe periodontitis. She wanted to replace the teeth with dental implants.

After thorough clinical and radiological examination, Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist Dr. S. M. Balaji successfully planned to remove the infected teeth and replace it with immediate implants. After removal of ceramic bridge, infected upper central incisors and canine teeth were extracted without any damage to the adjacent tooth structures and immediate implants were placed into the extraction sockets with good stability and retention.
