Maxillofacial Surgeon & Implantologist Dr. S.M. Balaji planned a combined treatment. The upper right & left lateral incisors & canines were root canal treated with apicoectomy. The mobile upper central incisors were extracted. The cyst lesions were thoroughly enucleated. A bone graft was taken from the symphysis (anterior region of the lower jaw) was used to completely fill the bone defect. Simultaneously, two dental implants were placed in the sockets of the extracted teeth itself.
She was given a temporary prosthesis. Following osseointegration of the implants with the jaw bone, permanent ceramic crown prosthesis will be given. Effective treatment of such complex cases requires expert care & skill. This center routinely performs these procedures with success.
