A 30 year old lady reported to our dental clinic with the complaints of pain in right upper back region of the jaw due to infection in her ceramic prosthesis that was done elsewhere. She was also not happy with her prosthesis due to the bad esthetics.
Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist Dr. S. M. Balaji expertly planned to correct her teeth with dental implant therapy. The old ceramic prosthesis was removed and badly decayed teeth were extracted without much damage to the supporting structures. Implants were fixed into the extraction socket & missing teeth region with good stability and retention. After complete osseointegration of the implants to alveolar bone, they were loaded with fixed ceramic prosthesis. This gave her more natural and pleasing smile which improved her appearance remarkably.
