This is a case of unilateral cleft lip and palate, where primary cleft lip, palate was previously operated by Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. S. M. Balaji. Due to cleft alveolar defect, her upper left lateral incisor was missing subsequently central incisor and canine teeth were also displaced giving an unsightly crowded appearance. Following cleft alveolar reconstruction with iliac bone grafting, Dr. Balaji extracted the central incisor and canine teeth and immediately replaced her missing teeth with implants gaining good alveolar bone retention and stability. Naturally well blended ceramic bridge fixed into the dental implants. Patient is very happy to have a confident smile which improved her appearance dramatically. |
