A 30 year old man reported to our dental clinic wanting to replace his missing teeth. He gave a history of having met with a road traffic accident few weeks back. On intra oral examination, upper left central and lateral incisors were avulsed completely and right central incisor was fractured. He also complained of pain in fractured tooth.
Maxillofacial surgeon and Implantologist Dr. S. M. Balaji expertly planned to replace his missing teeth using dental implants. Periosteal flap was raised and implants fixed in the missing teeth region with maximum stability. Implants were immediately loaded with fixed crown prosthesis closely resembling natural teeth. The adjacent fractured tooth was root canal treated and restored with ceramic crown. Patient was very happy to have fixed teeth immediately and fractured tooth was also saved and restored enhancing his smile.
