A 42-year-old woman reported to our hospital seeking a fixed replacement of her missing upper teeth. Elsewhere she was advised only removable dentures due to decreased height of available bone but she wanted fixed teeth so that she can eat & speak very comfortably.
Maxillofacial Surgeon & Implantologist Dr. S.M. Balaji successfully performed a sinus-lift procedure in which the floor of the maxillary sinus was raised & bone graft was placed to increase the height of the jaw bone. Dental implants were placed with good bone support. Subsequently, ceramic prosthesis will be given for complete rehabilitation.
