A girl born with incomplete cleft lip was successfully operated for primary lip repair on 4th January 2014. Today suture removal was done. The lip repair shows good results without any scarring.
The patient from Saudi Arabia came to our hospital with a complaint of forwardly placed anterior portion of upper jaw due to bilateral cleft lip and palate which compromised both cosmetic and functional aspects of her life. The protruded portion of upper jaw was repositioned to the exact place with blood supply and cleft causing this separation of upper jaw into three different parts was closed with rhBMP-2 which helps in uniting the three parts into a single jawbone by new bone formation. This surgery improved her appearance and helped for proper growth and alignment of her teeth.
The patient came with a complaint of a hump in the middle portion of his nose. The excess bone and excess cartilage that was causing the hump was trimmed. There were no visible scars as the entire cosmetic procedure was performed through the nose. Following surgery, the patient had an ideal sharp nose that best suited his face.
A 4-year-old boy born with a patch of black, hairy skin pigmentation on his right cheek reported to our hospital with his parents seeking the best cosmetic correction. Hairy nevus skin lesion was excised & covered with local advancement flap.
